About
Since 2021, Loune Viaud is Chief Gender and Social Equity Officer of Partners in Health. Ms. Viaud has played a key role in expanding PIH’s work in Haiti and worldwide. In 1990, she helped open Haiti’s first women’s health center. In 2017, she became Executive Director of Zanmi Lasante, as PIH is known in Haiti. With her leadership, PIH has grown to serve 4 million people with high-quality primary care. Ms. Viaud is the recipient of the 2002 Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award.
